Driving the cows to pasture
Our cows love being outdoors, so every morning at 6 a.m. they are taken out to the pasture and only fetched back for milking in the afternoon. This daily “ritual” connects us closely with our animals and builds closeness and trust.
Once the cows have been looked after in the barn, all the small animals also get their hay, grass and plenty of cuddles. It is always especially exciting to peek into the hens’ nests – how many eggs have they laid today? Although life on a farm involves a lot of work and often has little to do with romance, it is our greatest joy to be able to run Paußhof.
Being close to the animals and living in harmony with nature is a pure privilege for us. If we treat nature with appreciation, it will give back the livelihood for our animals and for us. We are very happy to let you share in the “everyday life” on our organic farm during your holiday – you will enjoy it.
