Holidays on the organic farm Paußhof in Kleinarl

Here at the organic hay milk farm Paußhof, it is all about taking a deep, happy breath and enjoying the glorious nature. With our organic hay milk, we are part of the World Heritage! On your farm holiday you will surely find it easy to dive into idyllic country life and to enjoy being close to nature and the animals.

We run our Paußhof entirely organically – in harmony with nature and with respect for it. That means we completely avoid chemical and genetically modified fertilisers, feed and storage agents, as well as artificial colourings and flavourings. Only the purity of nature counts for us.

Driving the cows to pasture

Our cows love being outdoors, so every morning at 6 a.m. they are taken out to the pasture and only fetched back for milking in the afternoon. This daily “ritual” connects us closely with our animals and builds closeness and trust.

Once the cows have been looked after in the barn, all the small animals also get their hay, grass and plenty of cuddles. It is always especially exciting to peek into the hens’ nests – how many eggs have they laid today? Although life on a farm involves a lot of work and often has little to do with romance, it is our greatest joy to be able to run Paußhof.

Being close to the animals and living in harmony with nature is a pure privilege for us. If we treat nature with appreciation, it will give back the livelihood for our animals and for us. We are very happy to let you share in the “everyday life” on our organic farm during your holiday – you will enjoy it.

What organic means to us

The unconditional renunciation of genetic engineering and of chemical-synthetic feed, fertilisers and pesticides. Extensive measures for animal welfare and the health of our animals. We love our organic hay milk cows and are happy when they enjoy their daily time on the pasture. Only then do they give valuable organic hay milk – and we would never swap our Simmental cattle for high-performance cows.

Our drinking water comes from our own spring – uniquely precious.

With our 25 kW photovoltaic system we produce hot water and electricity. The whole house is equipped with LED lamps.

All of the laundry (bed linen, table linen and towels) is washed in our own laundry – conserving resources and without long transport routes.
